The Red House Filming at the Long Beach Comic Con


Convention Continues to Appeal to Horror Genre Film-Lovers

The Red House, a new thrilling horror film, is screening on Sunday November 4th, 2012, at the 4th annual Long Beach Comic and Horror Con. The movie will be shown in Room 104 at the Long Beach Convention Center from 12:00 pm-1:45 pm. After the screening, the cast and crew will be participating in a question and answer session for a panel, and then signing autographs for con-goers.

This indie horror film has recently been picked up by distribution company Spartan Bay (spartanbay.com), and is on track to reach horror fans around the nation. It features an exciting young cast who has appeared in such work as Cowboys & Aliens, The L Word, True Blood, Road Trip, and Hatchet II. This is a great opportunity for fans to meet the up-and-coming stars of The Red House, including Kate French, Brendan Wayne, Cristen Coppen, Lawrence Adimora, Yvette Yates, Kat Sheridan, and Ed Ackerman.

Also in attendance will be writer/director Gregory Avellone, who as Vice-President of Kevin Costner’s Tig Productions, had a hand in overseeing many blockbuster motion pictures, including Dances With Wolves (winner of 7 Academy awards), The Bodyguard, Robin Hood, Wyatt Earp, Tin Cup, and For Love Of The Game. The films he worked on represent well over 1 Billion dollars in box office revenue! The film’s producer, John Otrin, co-star of Friday the 13 Part VII, Missing In Action II and numerous other productions, will be present, as well.

The film features a young woman who has just inherited a remote house in the woods invites her friends along for a vacationto check the place out. But their recreation is soon interrupted by torture, madness and murder…
