Horror Haiku Announces Screenwriting Competition

SERAPH FILMS, L.L.C. is pleased to announce HORROR HAIKU’s 1st Annual Screenwriting Competition.

HORROR HAIKU is a weekly horror anthology series, which airs on the company’s YouTube channel,www.youtube.com/TheSeraphFilms. Creators GENE BLALOCK and JAMES BORING aim to distill horror to its essence.

The HORROR HAIKU Screenwriting Contest opens for submissions on March 10, 2014, and closes for submissions on March 31, 2014, or when 200 submissions have been received.

Scripts must be original work by the submitter, no more than 3 pages in length and themed in the horror genre. Submitters must include a Haiku with their screenplay. The title page and Haiku do not count against the 3 page limit.

8 winners will be announced at the end of Episode 10 of Season 4, Wednesday, May 7, 2014. The 8 selected scripts will be produced by Seraph Films to be aired in Season 5.

“In our continued efforts to explore the deepest and darkest corners of our imagination, we are reaching out to the collective mind of horror fans across all nations for inspiration,” says MEERA KIM, producer of the series.
