Evil Dead the Musical Sweeps Award Nominations

Las Vegas, NV, January 16, 2014: EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL, the show that has been taking over the Las Vegas Strip one bloody t-shirt at a time, was nominated in 5 categories for the BroadwayWorld 2013 Awards this past November.

The show reached out to its fans to vote, and after all the votes were counted, the show's star, Ben Stobber, won Best Lead Actor in a Musical for his portrayal as Ash, the hero with a chainsaw for a hand.

"We were grateful to be nominated in the first place, but to see just how well we did in all the categories - and to have Ben Stobber win - is thrilling," said producer and director Sirc Michaels. "We love our fans and appreciate everyone who voted for us. We also want to congratulate all the other winners, as well as everyone who was nominated in all the categories."

Evil Dead: The Musical to join Mondays Dark Event to Benefit NVSPCA

LAS VEGAS - Jan. 14, 2013 The cast of Evil Dead: The Musical at V Theater inside Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino has been invited to participate in the upcoming Mondays Dark Event at Vinyl inside The Hard Rock Casino on Jan. 20. Mondays Dark is a monthly show, full of Las Vegas performers, that benefits a variety of charities in the area. The show starts at 8:30pm.

"We're looking forward to participating in the event and as always helping to raise funds for NVSPCA," said Sirc Michaels, producer of Evil Dead: The Musical. "The entire cast will be out in full force, and we'll be singing an animal-themed song that should encourage people to sing along. When we got the invite to participate we knew what song we wanted to do, and are all fired up."

What song that is, exactly, will be revealed at Mondays Dark.

Evil Dead The Musical Looking for New Blood

LAS VEGAS - January 6, 2014 EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL Ultimate 4D Experience, the Las Vegas hit that plays at the V Theater in Planet Hollywood at the heart of the world famous Las Vegas Strip, is expanding the number of performances each week. Currently it plays Fridays and Saturdays only, but beginning in February that will change to 4 nights each week and, this summer, that will change to 6 nights each week.

With this expansion comes the need for additional cast members for the show.

"This show's success is a combination of many factors," says the show's producer and director Sirc Michaels, "Not the least of which is an amazing cast that give the show their all in every performance. We have a great time doing what we do, and we are looking forward to adding to the ranks."

2 Male and 3 female performers are being sought for positions. Ages are various.

Interested persons must meet the following criteria:

1. Located in Vegas.
2. Able to sing.
3. Have comedic timing.
4. Love to have fun onstage.
5. Be 18 years of age or older.

Evil Dead the Musical Seeks New Blood

LAS VEGAS - December 4, 2013 - EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL is looking for individuals who want are interested in production, design, marketing, and the arts. Inquiries are currently being accepted for various intern positions within the production.

Sirc Michaels Productions, the company behind EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL, is looking for interns for graphic design, photography, social marketing, and backstage crew. Interns must be driven, self-directed candidates who are interested in learning from theatre professionals and contributing to a vibrant community of artists.

SMP is committed to providing interns with a structured and substantive experiential learning.
Internships are part-time and typically last four months.
Interns need to be 18 or older and have their own mode of transportation.

Evil Dead the Musical Calls on Fans to Vote


Las Vegas, NV, November 14, 2013: EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL, the show that has been taking over the Las Vegas Strip one bloody t-shirt at a time, has been nominated in 5 categories for the BroadwayWorld 2013 Awards.

"We are grateful to be nominated in the first place, but in to wake up and find out we've been nominated in so many categories is thrilling," said producer and director Sirc Michaels. "We are excited to see how well we do this year. This is a chance for us to be put up against some of the biggest guns on the Strip. They're in the flashier casinos, with the over-the-top budgets, but we have something that we find far more valuable - a legion of the best fans on the planet."

The trick will be mobilizing those fans. The winners of the Broadway World Awards are decided by public vote, and the cast and crew of EVIL DEAD THE MUSICAL encourage everyone to take the time to make their voices heard.
