LOS ANGELES, CA – Dry County Entertainment, founded by director Robert Hall (MTV’S Teen Wolf, Laid to Rest, Lightning Bug) and Fear Chamber LLC, are proud to announce the first round of casting details for their upcoming production of the feature film FEAR CLINIC.
FEAR CLINIC began as a 2009 horror series for FearNet that consisted of five episodes starring up-and-coming talent like Lucas Till (X-Men: First Class) and Kate Nauta (Transporter 2) as well as horror icons Danielle Harris (Halloween 4), Lisa Wilcox (A Nightmare on Elm Street 4) and Kane Hodder (Jason Voorhees). The series and upcoming film stars Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger in the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise) as Dr. Andover, a fear doctor who treats patients afflicted with crippling phobias by inducing hallucinations inside his exposure therapy invention; The Fear Chamber. The series, which focused on a different phobia every episode, received critical acclaim including two 2010 Streamy Awards (Best Sound Design and Best Visual FX for Hall’s company Almost Human) and reached over five million hits on FearNet.com. It has since been added to On Demand and mainstream channels Youtube and Hulu, making it the most-watched horror web series in history.
The project has been in active development for a feature film, written by Robert Hall and Aaron Drane.
Robert Englund is back to reprise his role of Dr. Andover and and has found some fresh new patients to treat.
Fiona Dourif won fans with her role on HBO’s True Blood as Casey, a witch with a dark secret, but it was her recent turn as Nica in Curse of Chucky that cemented her as a bright new star in the horror genre. In FEAR CLINIC, Dourif portrays Sara Falls, a young woman whose phobias begins reemerging and must seek out the specialized help of Dr. Andover.
Starring as Blake Patton is Thomas Dekker, who skyrocketed to fame with his roles in cult series such as Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, The Secret Circle and Heroes as well as films such as Kaboom and Laid To Rest. Blake is a disabled man who is brought into the clinic after surviving a terrible tragedy.
Also announced is Cleopatra Coleman (Step Up: Revolution, Silversun) in the role of the boy-crazy and feisty Megan McAllister, Sara’s best friend who takes arachnophobia to a whole new level.
These actors join talents Angelina Armani (Chromeskull) and Kevin Gage (Heat, Call of Duty: Ghosts) in rounding out the cast.
“This is a whole different playing field,” says director Robert Hall. “My new film has a much darker and surreal tone than the episodes, and I think fans will really appreciate the direction we’re going in.” Regarding the cast, he adds “I’m terribly excited to get to collaborate with Fiona Dourif who blows me away with her talent, and of course Thomas Dekker gets the best out of me when we’re on set and vice versa.”
The film may be a more mature realization of the concept from the series, but at the heart of the story it focuses on the cerebral nature of fear itself and the manifestations it can take for different people.
The film opens with a tragedy that launches five people into the public eye and enlists Dr. Andover to lend his expertise to help them overcome trauma-induced phobias. A year later, terrifying ‘aftershocks’ rattle the survivors, leading to them finding their way back to the fear clinic seeking answers. As they line up for another turn in the chamber, Dr. Andover believes that something more sinister may be at work.
FEAR CLINIC begins filming next month for a Halloween 2014 release.

Laid To Rest 2009 - REVIEW
I finally ordered this through Amazon. I always see it when I am looking for movies, but have never pulled the trigger on buying it. I have always heard mixed reviews of this movie. It is good, its bad, it sucks. That usually does not stop me from watching a movie permanently, but it does delay it a bit. I had a whole day off to do nothing but watch Horror movies and this was first on the list. I did not have really high expectations on Laid To Rest.
Laid To Rest was not a film that was sent to the big screen and had its day in the theatre. It was a direct to video release that since has a nice cult following. The quality of the movie was quite good considering most direct to video releases do lack in quality and good acting. This did not in either category. I enjoyed the acting and the character development of the main girl in the movie. By the end of the movie the audience knows what her back story is, as it's revealed little by little as the movie goes on. I think Robert Hall did a fantastic job with direction of the movie as well. The death scenes are gruesome and creative. If you are a true Horror fan that is important. The more creative and complex death scenes, the more people want to watch. The key is to do something no one as seen before or at least something that is not done often. It's also worth mentioning the minor role by a film and Horror genre legend Richard Lynch. He does not really do anything of importance in the movie but is none the less effective.
I was surprised by how much I did like Laid to Rest. Go figure J.R. likes a slasher. It had everything I like about Horror movies. Good characters, a creepy looking killer, and tons of blood. It even added another factor that I like, and that is one of my worst fears being lived in this movie. Being trapped in a coffin alive is something that freaks me out. Not that its ever happened to me, but the thought terrifies me. Finding a movie that truly has a terrifying element makes it even better. Because lets face it Horror movies are really not that scary. There are the few that can pull it off, but I am not one to scare easy. Unless you have a needle by my arm, but lets not go there. Laid To Rest 2 is definitely next on my list to pick up. Hopefully I will not wait as long as I did with this one to watch it. I kind of wish I would have met the cast now at a convention I was at and skipped over them because I did not know anything about the movie. Stay twisted everyone!

INTERVIEW - Angelina Armani on ChromeSkull: Laid to Rest 2

Since LAID TO REST 2 is set to be released later this year, I thought it would be nice to have a little chat with one of the stars of the film, Angelina Armani. Not only was she gracious and approachable but she's also very open about what we can expect from the sequel to Robert Hall's Laid to Rest. Check out what she has to say about ChromeSkull's reign of terror and being invited to guest at this year's Texas Frightmare Weekend and also some behind the scenes photos of her in action.
Twisted Central: I guess the best place to start is if you could briefly tell me a little about yourself. Have you always been a fan of horror films and if so, what are some of your favorites?
Angelina: You hit me with the hardest question first. It's so hard to describe yourself briefly in so few letters. I started runway modeling in New York and moved to LA at 19 to be an aspiring actress. I just finished shooting in a sequel called ChromeSkull: Laid To Rest 2. This movie has been written and directed by Robert Hall, and should be released fall of 2011. I have always been a huge horror fan since I was a little girl. It's all I would watch. My mom showed me that horror movies were for entertainment and couldn't hurt me from watching them so I grew attached to the genre. Some of my favorites are the instant classics like Halloween, Friday The 13th, Prince Of darkness, and so many more that couldn't all fit in this interview.
Twisted Central: How did you become involved with ChromeSkull?
Angelina: When I found out that a sequel was in the making, I knew I had to be in on it. I auditioned for a role of a detective. Next thing I knew, a script was in my hand.

Twisted Central: I was only recently able to actually watch Laid to Rest and I found it quite enjoyable and thought it had some of the most inventive kills I've seen in a while. Can we expect the same thing from this second chapter?
Angelina: Robert Hall promises double the kills with twice the blood shed. So I hope the viewers have high expectations because that's what their getting.
Twisted Central: What do you enjoy most about Laid to Rest and the ChromeSkull character?
Angelina: I think I can relate to the audience and say I enjoy it for its gruesome kills. As far as ChromeSkull, he's a legendary killer in the making. Robert Hall has created a piece of history that will indeed embed itself in the horror world. ChromeSkull is known for the best kills out of any horror flick. He's fast and has absolutely zero mercy on his victims and the ones to come.

Twisted Central: What affect has being part of ChromeSkull had on your life?
Angelina: My vision has definitely expanded. I get to sit back and see things through the killers eyes since I'm always on set. The affect has mostly been the learning experience.
Twisted Central: There are so many "big" names associated with this film i.e. Brian Austin Green and legendary horror actress Danielle Harris. What was it like working right along side them?
Angelina: Brian is the absolute best. He's so easy going and sweet! I didn't get to work with Danielle in LTR but I'm sure we'll hopefully cross paths again in another movie.

Twisted Central: Nick Principe gives me chills as ChromeSkull, I find him extremely intimidating and creepy (even with the mask on), were there any jump out and scare ya moments on set?
Angelina: I was opening a few of the caskets on set looking for something and nick was sleeping inside one of them with his mask on. I jumped and slammed the lid on his head when he sat up. It's more humorous than scary but I figured I'd share it.
Twisted Central: What other projects do you have coming up? More horror?
Angelina: I have so much coming up. Definitely more horror although I am not opposed to any other genre. I'll be at lots of conventions this year promoting Laid To Rest 2 like HorrorHound Weekend Indianapolis, Texas Frightmare Weekend, and more.

Twisted Central: What a rush being invited as a guest to Texas Frightmare Weekend! What are you most looking forward to during TFW?
Angelina: Definitely the fans. Its ALL for the fans. I've been to Texas only once before and loved it there. Everyone is so down to earth and super sweet. I can't wait to meet them all.
Thanks again to Angelina for taking the time to answer some questions.

Chrome Skull: Laid to Rest 2 Trailer
A new trailer for Robert Hall’s sequel to Laid To Rest has hit the web. If you're a fan of the original, as I am, you won't be disappointed!
ChromeSkull: Laid To Rest 2 brings back Nick Principe as the villain, plus Thomas Dekker, joined by Brian Austin Green, Mimi Michaels, Danielle Harris, Angelina Armani and Gail O'Grady as well as one of my favorites from The Mentalist, Owain Yeoman
I am so psyched for this film! With a great cast, inventive kills and the effects talent of Robert Hall, I expect this one to be even better than the first!
