Go Go Girls vs. The Nazis - Press Release
the soon to be cult classic, Go Go Girls vs The Nazis, to be filmed this
June in Racine, Wisconsin.
Mr. Purtee, like Mr. Clingman, got his start doing cable access television
in Racine, Wisconsin, and soon was enjoying film production. On filming in
Racine: "I love that we are filming it in Racine, WI., which is my
hometown. It really is a great place with so much to offer to the film
community if folks would just open their eyes and take advantage of it."
Mr. Purtee, when asked about the film itself said, "I really wanted this
to be my first feature, because who doesn't want to see a movie that has
guns, girls and dead Nazis?"
Mr. Wayne Clingman, executive producer of Go Go Girls vs the Nazis, said,
"I can think of anyone I'd rather have help bring this film to life other
than Ron Purtee. His love of film and understanding of all the various
levels of entertainment this film has to offer is simply fantastic."
Wayne has also brought Ross Bigly (Petty Cash) on board as the
screenwriter for the project and Melantha Blackthorne (Sinners and Saints)
as associate producer. Blackthorne will also star in the film along side
Ted Alderman (Vampyre Tales), Elvis Thao (Gran Torino), Melanie Robel(Bikini Monsters), and several other great actors and actresses who you
can view on the cast page of the website.
Blackthorne is Wayne Clingman's dark muse for Go Go Girls vs. The Nazis
Long known for his mad crushes on Lindsay Lohan and Erica Rhodes, Wayne
has admitted that scream queen Melantha Blackthorne is his muse for this
upcoming Russ Meyer tribute film.
"In the past I just followed her career in indy horror, but now working
with Ms. Blackthorne on Go Go Girls vs. The Nazis has brought a new
understanding on how great and creative she is on both sides of the
camera. In fact, to me Melantha is the new face of exploitation film."
Yes, only time will tell if Lindsey will get over the end of Wayne's crush
but one thing is sure exploitation film will never be the same.

A Webseries With Heart

Ron Purtee, creator of The Social Media Massacre has teamed up with award winning UK horror writer Garry Charles to bring us a dark tale of love, obsession and body mutilation.
Purtee's idea is to create short films based within the confines of our online social world, a series of vignettes that are confined by the limitations of the single camera set up. So far we have been treated to murder, suicide and envy fueled revenge, a steady build up of creeping terror preparing us for this journey into the mind of twisted lovers, brought to life on the screen by talented newcomers Shaun McGregor and Nikki Farce.
Anyone familiar with Charles' writing will know he has no qualms with crossing the lines of good taste and he does so here with what seems to be a knowing smile on his face, penning a script that manages to rub taste's nose in the dark stench of Taboo's darkest areas.
Unnerving, unsettling and already quoted as being “Totally effed up”... Here is From the Heart:

Ron Purtee and Garry Charles Team Up on Inside
Racine, Wisconsin, United States of America
April 6, 2011 --
What happens when the author of Hammerhead: A Summer of Massacre and the creator of The Social Media Massacre get together? You get a look INSIDE.
INSIDE is the story of Christie. Her past is catching up to her and this time, the truth won't set her free.
"Oddly enough, we have Joe Lynch to thank for this.". Purtee said. "I won a contest through the Knights of Badassdom twitter and one of the prizes was a signed copy of Hammerhead. Garry and I became friends and I knew I had to work with him."
Charles added, " Having kept an eye on his Social Media Massacre I was honored when he proposed we work together on a project, something that attempted to mindf**k the audience... And so we have "INSIDE" a slice of horror that will hopefully wedge itself in your mind and keep you asking questions long after you've watched it."
INSIDE will begin shooting in June and is starring Deneen Melody (Slices of Life, Songs of the Shattered) as Christie

It's Gray Skies for Director Ron Purtee

Coming this Summer from creators Shaun McGregor and Ron Purtee (The Social Media Massacre) comes a brand new web series that gives a new look into the world of hired killing.
GRAY SKIES follows Chuck and Shaun as they go from job to job, leaving a pile of bodies in the process. The only problem is now they have to contend with a spunky reporter and her camera man following their every mood and picking up on the fact that these may not be the most together hitmen on the planet.
"Shaun and I went through a few different things that we could do with this project", Purtee said. "and we couldn't figure out a way to describe the project in a fresh in way. Then we decided that based on the characters, this is like if Deadpool and The Punisher teamed up to do hits and just happened to be on The Office."
Production on the series starts in May, with the main characters already being cast. Chuck will be played by Charlie Bussian from The Social Media Massacre and Becoming Undead, while Shaun will be played by series creator Shaun McGregor. Episodes will be co-scripted and directed by Ron Purtee.
In the coming weeks you can find out more about GRAY SKIES at theycallmeron.com
